Adriana Lima, born June 12, 1981 is a Brazilian model and actress, best known as a Victoria's Secret Angel since 1999  (being their longest-running model and named "the most valuable Victoria's Secret Angel" in 2017), as a spokesmodel for Maybelline cosmetics since 2003 and for her Super Bowl and Kia Motors commercials. At the age of 15, Lima won Ford's "Supermodel of Brazil" competition, and took second place the following year in the Ford "Supermodel of the World" competition before signing with Elite Model Management in New York City.

Hadid's modeling career began when she was two years old after being discovered by Paul Marciano, of Guess clothing. She started modeling with Baby Guess before stopping to concentrate on school. Hadid eventually returned to modeling, in 2011. 

In spring 2012 Bündchen won three major spring campaigns: Versace, Givenchy, and Salvatore Ferragamo.In early 2012, it was announced that she would be the face of Banco do Brasil's first global ad campaign, with the tagline "Bank of Brazil. From Brazil to the world. From the world to Brazil." In April 2012, Time listed her on their All-TIME 100 Fashion Icons list of the 100 most influential fashion icons since 1923.
